Our Wedding

The First Day — October 16, 2022: We first connected on Match.com and met in person at Lysander Park, where our dogs—Jackson and Tinkerbell—got to meet too. Dinner followed at The Retreat. The Yes Day — January 10, 2025: Anthony proposed to Jolene under the fireworks at Walt Disney World after a long, magical day at Animal Kingdom. The Best Day — October 3, 2026: We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding at VanderKamp, surrounded by our family and closest friends.

We are so grateful to have our closest family and friends standing beside us as we celebrate this next chapter. Each of these people has played a meaningful role in our lives, and we are so excited to share this day with them.

Bridesmaids

Marissa is Jolene’s little sister and lifelong confidante. Growing up side by side, they’ve shared every milestone, late-night talk, and inside joke; Marissa has been there through the highs and the hard times. As Maid of Honor, she brings steady support, infectious laughter, and a bond that’s as enduring as it is loving.

Cheyenne has been Jolene’s best friend for over 14 years. From meeting at Alfred University to cheering one another on at horse shows and navigating life’s twists since, they’ve been inseparable. Cheyenne is the person Jolene turns to for honest advice, steady support, and shared laughter through both hard times and happy moments.

Cassie and Jolene have been friends since elementary school. Cassie later fell in love with Jolene’s cousin Sam, and joining the family has only deepened their connection—she brings warmth, easy humor, and steady support to the bridal party.

Anthony “Big Anthony” Fiorentino is the proud father of the groom. He has been there for Anthony through every chapter of life... the good, the difficult, and everything in between. No matter the circumstance, he has always offered unwavering love, compassion, and support, even when little Anthony chose "the hard way". Anthony is honored to have his father standing beside him as his best man on this special day.

Anthony and Robert “Little Bob” Weldon, have been friends since grade school. Their friendship continued through the years, including their time at Syracuse University, where Bob, Nate and Anthony became great friends. Bob has always been a loyal friend Anthony can count on.

Anthony and Nate “Gucci Maine” Eldridge have been friends since their time at Syracuse University. As legend has it, they may have been the only roommates with a kayak, road bikes, and coffee brewing over an open flame in their dorm room. From college adventures to years of friendship, Nate has always brought good stories, good energy, and plenty of laughs.

Sterling Sterbie Garlock is Anthonys first cousin, partner in crime and twin brother to Parker. Sterling and Anthony have had many fun adventures camping, fishing, bear hunting, and finding trouble more times than they would probably like to admit. Anthony is grateful to have Sterling standing by his side to celebrate this next adventure.

Parker “Park” Garlock is Anthony’s first cousin and twin brother to Sterling. Parker brings a more grounded, logical, and financially sound approach to the chaos of life. Parker and Anthony have always been close friends, often teaming up to fend off Sterling and his antics during their younger years. Anthony is grateful to have Parker standing by his side on this special day.

John is Jolene’s father and her rock. Steady and strong, he has always been someone she could count on—through childhood milestones, life’s challenges, and everything in between. His calm presence, quiet support, and gentle guidance have shaped who Jolene is today, and she feels so grateful to have him by her side as she walks down the aisle.

Ana “Bilo” Garlock is basically Anthony’s sister — though technically his first and oldest cousin. Ana and Anthony have shared a close bond since childhood, from summers at the cottage, to backpacking through Europe and getting detained in Prague, to giving Zaza (our grandmother) panic attacks after refusing to let her save the leftover cereal milk for more cereal the next morning. Jolene and Anthony are proud to have Ana play such a special role in their wedding day.

Jackson is a 9-year-old Samoyed who has been by Anthony’s side through thick and thin. Gentle, goofy, and fiercely loyal, he’s part of the family and brings comfort to everyone he meets. Anthony couldn’t imagine the day without his Best Dog accompanying him at the celebration. 

Jackson Fiorentino

Sam is one of Jolene’s closest cousins and a constant source of support throughout her life. They grew up sharing family gatherings and milestones, and Sam has always been someone Jolene can count on during both joyful moments and tough times. Over the years he’s also become a good friend to Anthony, bringing good times and steady presence to the couple’s lives. In his role as Honorable Jackson caretaker, Sam offers calm reliability, good humor, and wholehearted support as they celebrate this day.

Amelia is the daughter of Sam and Cassie. Her sunny smile and light giggles made her the obvious choice for our Flower Girl; she brings sweetness and joy to every room she enters.

Zayden is the son of Sam and Cassie. Playful and curious, he lights up the room with his grin and boundless energy, making him the perfect Ring Bearer for our day.

Amy is Anthony’s mother, kindergarden teacher for 30+ years and Anthony’s Icelandic travel partner. Amy known for her fun personality and ability to keep people smiling, she’s sure to add plenty of good memories to our celebration. We are happy to have her with us as we begin this next chapter together.

Mary has been Jolene’s biggest supporter her entire life. She’s stood by Jolene through the good and the hard moments, always offering steady love, practical help, and encouragement. Mary would give up anything to see her daughters happy—whether cheering from the sidelines, offering quiet advice, or lending a hand when it’s needed most. Jolene would be lost without her mother and is grateful to share this day with her by her side.

Early October at Vanderkamp is typically crisp and beautiful, with daytime temperatures often in the mid-50s to mid-60s and evening temperatures dipping into the 40s, so we recommend bringing a jacket, wrap, or shawl. Since the venue has a natural woodland setting with grass, gravel, and uneven ground, please choose comfortable footwear; cocktail or semi-formal attire with fall colors is encouraged.

We are so excited to celebrate with you at Vanderkamp Wilderness Retreat in Bernhards Bay, New York. Vanderkamp is a beautiful, tucked-away venue set on 850 remote acres in Upstate New York, so we recommend planning your travel and lodging in advance. Vanderkamp Wilderness Retreat204 County Route 17Bernhards Bay, NY 13028 A couple items of note: Vanderkamp is a remote, laid-back venue. Cell service and rideshare availability may be limited, so we recommend arranging transportation ahead of time. The property has two entracnes. 1) A slightly longer, senic entrance from the West off of Route 17 or 2) from the East off of Martin Road. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to Kempwick Building. Transportation Notes

Vanderkamp is located in a quiet, rural setting, so we recommend that guests plan transportation in advance. Rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft may be limited near the venue, especially later in the evening. For guests staying offsite, transportation will be provided Saturday evening at the conclusion of the reception from Vanderkamp to Tailwater &amp; the Holiday Inn Express. Exact timing will be determined based on number of people at each hotel.

Syracuse Hancock International Airport 

Syracuse Hancock International Airport — SYR is the most convenient airport for guests flying in. The airport serves Central New York and offers nonstop service to multiple destinations. Approximate drive time to Vanderkamp: 32 minutes

This is a great option for guests who want a more scenic stay while still being within driving distance of Vanderkamp. Please note: Due to high demand during Salmon Season, the discounted room block rate at Tailwater Lodge is available for Saturday night only.
